Andrew Manson and associate Harry Turnham judged the Charolais classes at Royal Melbourne Show. Junior champion heifer was exhibited by Edwina Wiltshire. Windjammer Nixie Rose was sired by Cedardale Zeal and also won the Interbreed Reserve Junior champion Heifer. Reserve junior champion heifer was Rangan Showgirl N50 sired by Ashwood Park Rio D213E. Senior and grand champion female was Arabar Jayde exhibited by the Wilson Family, Balaklave SA. This female was sired by Markowen Freedom. Reserve senior champion female was Rangan Showgirl C7 exhibited by the Cook Family, Rangan Charolais.

Junior Champion bull was won by Rachael Cochrane and James Duggan with their Lorna Doone Napoleon (P) sired by WR Polled Rex U606. Reserve junior bull was Tambo River Nitrogen from the Newcomen Family. Senior and Grand champion bull and supreme exhibit was Deborah and Sapphire Halliday’s Waterford Midnight Lightning (P)(RF). Sired by Palgrove Hermes this rd factor bull weighted in at 1080kg, scanned 140cm2 EMA at 24 months. This bull then went on to win Senior Champion Interbreed bull. Reserve senior champion bull was Jess Cook with JC Morgan M2 sired by Rangan Sentinel Ruler C38. Rangan Charolais were the most successful Charolais Exhibitor.
