The Charolais Youth Stampede is an educational based program to offer opportunity and education to the next generation.

Held at Dubbo in conjunction with the National Showcase and National Sale the Stampede is aimed at youth aged 7 to 24 years of age. Each participant is required to handle an animal and care for that animal for the three day event. Participants are given instruction on all aspects of cattle husbandry, junior judging and showmanship as well as other skills useful in their future careers.

In 2017 over 100 participants took advantage of the opportunity to compete at the Charolais Youth Stampede. Teamwork and participation games are also conducted to ensure that all participants enjoy the event.
