The Garrett Youth Education Scholarship has been made possible by the generous donations of the late Dr Joe Garrett and his wife Carolynne, and gifts of cash and livestock from Australian Charolais supporters. One or more grants of up to $2000 are made available every year to support the education of our Charolais Youth.
Charolais Council established the “Garrett Youth Education Scholarship”, which is conducted under similar guidelines to an education scholarship scheme run for the American-International Junior Charolais Association, in 1997. Since then many of our younger members have been rewarded with educational scholarships.
