The seventh annual Eidsvold Charolais Bull sale conducted by the Goodland and Warren families reached new heights with Clare Mega Awesome (P) selling for $24,000 to Sue and Jason Salier, Minnie Vale Charolais. The strong sire weighed in at 1051kg and boasted outstanding scans of 150 cm² eye muscle, 13mm P8, 9mm Rib and 43cm scrotal. Second top at $20,000 was for Clare Mr Mac (P), selling to Phillip Nobbs, Delargum, Moura and Clare Murdock (R/F) sold to Silverstone Livestock, Napier, WA, for $13,000. Elridge/Sirrah Charolais reached $9,500 twice with “Mateo” selling to the Hudson family, Gin Gin and “Milton” selling to the Dwyer Family, Biggenden. The strong sale received over 90% repeat buyer support and posted an average of $6,923 with a 93% clearance.
