2018 Pickles Auctions National Showcase

Exhibitors from three states paraded cattle before judge Mr Tim Vincent, Booragul Angus, Piallaway NSW in the recent Pickles Auctions Showcase held in Dubbo. Tim selected cattle with structural correctness and growth and commented on the breeds performance. DSK Charolais were announced as the Premier Exhibitor at the dinner following on from their Supreme Exhibit success. DSK TGL Metric M59E (P) was the senior and grand champion bull and supreme exhibit. Half brother also sired by Temana Golden Logie G66E (P) was DSK TGL Max M69E (P)(RF). Junior champion bull was Bolong Noosa (P) exhibited by Daniel Croker and reserve junior was Moongool Network (P) exhibited by the Price Family, Moongool. Junior champion heifer was Temana Nola N8E exhibited by Terry and Maylene Griffin with Deborah and Sapphire Halliday’s Waterford Northern Star reserve. Rebecca Keeley and Colin Pickering had a great day in the ring with Intermediate Champion Heifer, Chenu Confidence 7 (P). Reserve Intermediate heifer was Elite Panache M43 (P)(RF). Senior and Grand champion female Temana Lilly L145E (P)(RF) was exhibited by Murray, Nicole, Catherine and Heidi Nicholls. Moongool exhibited Moongool Waracol Gay 4 (P) for the reserve senior champion ribbon. The President’s Breeders Group was won by DSK Charolais.
